Shubham Trikha
Shubham Trikha started teaching chess in schools of Amritsar in 2014 as a volunteer at his Bhavan SL Public School. His initial motivation was simply to provide a fun, intellectually stimulating activity. Later that year, when he started working with the Stalwart World School to prepare a school team for the city championship, he was in for a surprise: the best under-14 & under-17 chess player in Amritsar had been attending the school all along! What happened next was the watershed event that led to the philosophical foundation of Chess Institute.

One-On-One Coaching:
Students are encouraged to write down their moves in competition games, so that the coach can analyse their games in detail.
Online Coaching
By sharing a chess board online and with a video chat during training sessions, the coach teaches openings/middle game/endgames and shows examples from games played by masters based on different themes.
Group Coaching
This type of coaching can be very beneficial for students who want to improve different aspects of their game together in a friendly, but competitive environment.
